Guidelines for increasing Instagram engagement.
Guys..Instagram is NOT about FOLLOWERS..😤
(No my words but this is what I want to say)
I scroll through this group every day and the most common question I see is: "How do I get more followers?🤔".
Sometimes I even message those people and ask them "Hey, what's actually your goal with Instagram? Why do you want more followers?"😉
Most of the time it's one of two answers:
1️⃣ I want to be famous
2️⃣ I want to make money with Instagram
Cool👍 No problem with that.
But then they ask me things like:
"What is the best powerlikes platform?"
"Should I do follow / unfollow?"
"How can I get followers the fastest way possible?"
Then I ask them to send me their username so I can check out their account and 99% of the accounts I review are doing these 3 things WRONG:👇
❌Their profile is a MESS
Nobody knows what they are really about, what they can expect from following and they are not providing any value with their posts.😑
❌The content SUCKS
I mean how do you think you will go viral with selfies or shots of a tree in your backyard?😅
If you want to create viral content, just model what already works. Sure it takes some time and effort but nobody said it was easy!😌
❌They are doing it just for THEMSELVES
Instagram or Social Media in general is about COMMUNITY!🙏 It's NOT about YOU, it's always about THEM - the users that engage with your posts, that send you DMs, the people that actually become a follower.
And if you can't give them what they want and need, you won't build a loyal audience (period)!👎
Sure you can fake shit and make some money with free clothes, shoutouts, etc. But what happens if Instagram finally deletes all the fake stuff?? What is your account worth then?
💩NOTHING!💩
But if you build your account ORGANICALLY in an authentic way that really cares about people, you will have so much more success in the long run.🤩
